Location

The primary under-bonnet fuse box is on the passenger side of the engine bay (right side in LHD cars), directly beside the battery. Squeeze the two latches on the long black lid and lift it off; the fuse and relay map is printed on the inside of the lid and the fuse puller is clipped there too.

The 2.0 i-VTEC petrol and 2.2 i-CTDi / i-DTEC diesel share the box, but the diesel adds a 60-80 A glow plug fuse and the petrol has a 20 A ignition coil feed. The 100-120 A main fuse and the 70 A EPS fuse are bolted into the box and are not serviceable without removing the box. Honda uses low-profile mini fuses in some positions; standard mini fuses fit but may stop the lid closing. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
