Location

Open the front passenger door and look in the footwell, behind a plastic trim panel at the base of the dashboard end near the A-pillar. Unclip the cover to reach the fuses.

This box is part of the front SAM (signal acquisition and actuation module) control unit; most fuses here are low-current mini fuses for comfort and infotainment systems. The 4MATIC and AIRMATIC fuse positions are only active on vehicles fitted with those options. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
