Location

Open the bonnet and look at the back left corner of the engine bay, next to the battery. Unclip the black plastic cover and lift it off to access the maxi fuses and relays mounted inside.

This box holds the high-current maxi fuses for the main power circuits plus the primary engine relays; always disconnect the battery negative terminal before removing or replacing a maxi fuse. Diesel versions carry extra fuses and relays for the glow plug and fuel heater systems not fitted to petrol models. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
