Location

Open the bonnet; the black BSM box is on the left side of the engine bay next to the battery. Unclip the two or three latches on the lid and lift it off; the fuse layout label is printed on the underside.

The BSM contains high-current maxi fuses and relays for the engine, cooling fan and lights. Refit the lid firmly after work so the box stays watertight. A separate battery fuse holder (with 50-80 A maxi fuses) sits on the positive terminal. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
