Location

Open the bonnet and look on the left-hand side of the engine bay (as you face the car), right beside the battery. Release the plastic clips on the black rectangular cover and lift it off to expose the maxi fuses, blade fuses and relays.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal before replacing a maxi fuse. On this model the engine bay unit is a protection and switching module: several outputs are electronic and a fault may be stored in the unit rather than caused by a blown fuse. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
