Location

Sit in the driver's seat and look below the dashboard, to the left of the steering column near the hood release handle. Pull off the plastic cover panel to expose the fuse rows behind it.

This panel covers most interior and comfort circuits; a separate fuse/relay box in the engine bay next to the battery holds the engine-management and high-current fuses. Turbo (XT) models may have an extra fuse for the intercooler water spray pump. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
