Location

Open the driver's door and look at the far left end of the dashboard, behind a small plastic trim panel next to the driver's left knee. The BSI (built-in control and fuse unit) houses the passenger-compartment fuses behind this cover; a fuse-pulling tool is clipped inside.

The BSI combines fuses with several body control functions, so a blown fuse here can also disable related warning messages on the dashboard. A few empty slots are reserved for options not fitted to every trim level. Always match fuse ratings to the printed lid diagram before replacing one. Fuse assignment varies by equipment level and production year. Always confirm with the label on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual.
